An Taoiseach Enda Kenny, meets with ArraVasc in Italy

In Milan this week, ArraVasc CEO Jonathan Akehurst said “We are delighted to have the support of the Taoiseach Enda Kenny today to help us build a stronger relationship with our distribution partner, ab Medica in this strategically important market.”

Mr Aldo Cerrutti, President and Founder of ab Medica was very impressed at the Taoiseach’s knowledge and understanding of advanced technologies as he was joined by his senior management a lively discussion around Irish skills and innovation in medical device manufacturing and development.

“Building a solid partnership here in Milan is a critical part of the ArraVasc business plan to grow our global export sales of our innovative peripheral vascular products and will ultimately create even more high value jobs in Galway” added Mr Akehurst.

The cordial meeting ended with the Taoiseach extending a personal invitation to Mr Cerrutti to visit Ireland later this year to join the Enterprise Ireland-led conference ‘Med In Ireland’ in Dublin – an event that showcases Irish innovation in medical technology.
